Anyone Near The Tampa Bay Area Want A Kitten?

I hate to make a post like this but earlier this evening we came into the custody of the nicest little kitten in need of a home we can’t supply (We already have 5 cats and my dad is deadset on not taking in another).

She was given to us by a small herd of children in our neighborhood going door-to-door to find someone willing to take her in after whoever had her before felt they had the right to throw her in a dumpster. My mom and I being suckers have taken her in for the night and if we can’t find a proper home for her we’ll just have to pray that theres a no-kill shelter somewhere around here with space for her.

She’s super friendly and downright loving (shes sleeping in my lap even as I type this) and has a little collar with a mangled little heart charm on it.

If you or someone you know might want her, please DM me for more info. Signal boosts would be appreciated!

Because my landlady doesn’t like cold places, she is bothering to clean corridors of her house.
She says it is a great problem for her that my fur remains even she doesn’t go.
I think she is more problematic because I patroll around her house instead of her even in such a cold days.
She imagine it will be cleaning if I wrapped by sticky sheet or tied cleaning sheet with my tail will run around her house…… She is lovely troublesome person for me…

I went off about this subject on twitter

[image description: 3 tweets by katie @katiehianna_.Ā  Altogether the text reads,Ā ā€œI find it hard to believe that people who go on about stopping benefit cheats on disability are doing it because theyĀ ā€œcareā€ about disabledĀ  people if thats the only issue they care about and don’t advocateĀ  for disabled peopleĀ  in any other way.Ā Ā

If you don’t care about disabled ppl being forced to live in poverty because they can’t get benefits they are entitled to, who can’t access the care they need and who are discriminated against daily then don’t claim that you call out potential benefit fraud for us.Ā

Also this harms us more than it helps us because we get accused of faking our illnesses and we get denied benefits because the government are cutting 80% of benefits and don’t care if the people they deny are genuine or not (they ARE genuine because only 0.7% claim fraudulently)]

.

From personal experience, the difficulty and hoops involved in trying to get and keep my disability benefits are incredibly draining.Ā  Able-bodied cheaters are not the ones hurt by further difficulty in getting these benefits.Ā  Changes targeted to make benefits harder to get- disproportionately hurt those of us who are actually disabled- because we are less likely to be able to put in the time, energy and effort into jumping through increasingly difficult hoops in order to get benefits that we desperately need.

When I walk into the mall and see Christmas decorations up the day after Halloween, I feel the same way Hamlet did when his mom married his annoying uncle so shortly after his father’s death.

C l a u d i u s .

His name’s never verbally spoken in the dialogue, only indicated in the stage directions, so I like to think Hamlet never actually learned his annoying uncle’s name and it’s wayyy too late to ask now
