(Another reason I like to do that on Fencing Night usually. If I have a sandwich or something instead of cooking for everyone, that may leave more spoons for hauling water. Off plan tonight, though.)

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Patrick John Owens was the one who lied to police, telling them that the two brothers, Christopher and Jerry Tate, had robbed him at gunpoint last summer.
It is instead Owens who was finally charged on Wednesday as the culprit in the armed robbery.
All from those two fat and sassy girls who keep mugging for the camera, since they arrived in late August.
The boys have been getting separated out into another tank. Accounting for only 7 of the babies so far, but the second oldest batch of fry are only starting to differentiate themselves now. Some video of them to come.

I know livebearers are really really good at producing more little fishies, but I still keep getting impressed 🙄
And they can keep it up for like 6 months after a single mating. Should hopefully be only a few more batches to go, as much as I do enjoy the babies. I may need to get another tank set up for some of the girls, as it is. And/or see if the fish store would like some back.
I was just trying to catch a couple of little boys out of there, and got one. I think. It’s in a breeding net holding cell in the bigger tank for now, to make sure I did scoop out the right one. Adult males are like 1" long, so you almost need a magnifying glass to be sure before the boys start coloring up.
One more awesome thing? They swarm whenever you even open the lid 🙄😬 And multiple other babies of all sizes always try to swim into the little medicine cup. (Good luck with a net if you don’t want half of them in it!)
There might be food, or something else exciting for tiny fish 😅
