Neglected pastures thrive under solar panels

Solar panels could increase productivity on pastures that are not irrigated and even water-stressed, a new study finds. The new study published in PLOS One by researchers at Oregon State College finds that grasses and plants flourish in the shade underneath solar panels because of a significant change in moisture. The results bolster the argument for agrovoltaics, the concept of using the same area of land for solar arrays and farming. The idea is to grow food and produce clean energy at the same time.

This mysterious “chicken church” is located in the middle of the Indonesian jungle. The abandoned building itself is quite bizarre but even more bizarre is the fact that there are 12 underground chambers.

thats my house

It’s not abandoned anymore, or that mysterious. Nor are prayer rooms underground ‘bizarre’. The actually story is interesting and kinda cute how earnest it is.

Somewhat urgent

Hey,  does anyone know of any resources or places to stay for an autistic young adult / teen who is considering running away from home?  Things are bad and the more options the better.  Also he is a bit wary of going through the official system because they keep putting him in contact with his parents.

Edit: parts of mainland europe might be an option if there is a guaranteed place to crash.

going to keep spamming this

Another thing I spotted and couldn’t resist adding to the order, whether I really need it or not.

Didn’t even notice that they’re also nondairy until I took the box out of the freezer just now. But, what I’ve eaten of one so far is pretty good.
