I think Princess Zelda lost her pregnancy 😦 Or else she gave birth and killed the babies, which is particularly sad because Samus is the one who impregnated her. At any rate she isn’t pregnant anymore.
To recap for anyone who missed it, Samus was found dead behind the castle a couple of weeks ago. Link died not long after that, so it’s just been Zelda, Bayonetta, and Pikachu chilling out with some snails.
Of course, none of those three can impregnate each other so no one is pregnant or coupled off right now. Pikachu’s babies are growing well. There are six still living. There were seven, but one escaped and Bayonetta ate it.
Because of course these updates always have to involve someone eating someone else. *sigh*
excuse me what
UPDATE: THOSE ARE OP’S FISHES
Blogging about my aquarium is fun
What the FUCK
I really thought this was about shitty fanfics
fishkeeping is such a trap, because you think it’ll be a fun little hobby where you get your hands wet and then just watch your fish for hours; but in actuality, it forces you to learn about chemistry and biology and gardening and plumbing and electricity and woodworking and even latin bc you’ve unconsciously memorized hundreds of scientific names, and a couple months later, you’ll find yourself in aisle 13 of lowe’s picking up another box of #0 x 2-7/8" structural lag screws, smelling like algae and sawdust while you rack your brain trying to remember what aquatic plant species naturally occur in the peat bogs of northern kalimantan
Maybe a month ago, I ended up taking the plant filter with spider plants off the back. Don’t really need the extra nitrate removal without messy goldfish in there anymore, and the way it was set up didn’t seem to be good for the light bar in the back. Had to replace the tube again, and decided to get that filter box away from it.
Anyway, those spider plants must not have been ready to go! Didn’t notice the plantlet rooted up in the corner behind that filter box until now.
I’d be tempted just to leave it be, but with the kind of root systems spider plants get? I’m concerned it might damage the filter housing, maybe pry it away from the tank walls. I think it gets to move into a nice pot.
I’ve been swamped with school for a little while and my tank overgrew. Apparently Vín and Viktoría found it quite romantic, and had a baby!! I only see one baby so far but there could be more. I hope they make it!
Okay so there’s at least 4! I love theeeemmm.
I 100% don’t trust them not to get eaten or attacked though. I’ll be moving the parents to a 5 gal so the babies can continue to have a source of natural live food in the main planted tank, and Vín and Viktoría are just gonna have to deal
