“Bitch-ass motherfucker, fucking shoot at us,” a Chicago police officer told the bloodied, dying body of Paul O’Neal, an 18-year-old black man who was, to be clear, unarmed when officers shot and killed him on July 28.
I hope all my allistic followers are aware that books like To Siri With Love are the sort of thing that get autistic people killed. We die in real life because we’re seen as creepy, unsettling, yet still somehow laughable caricatures of humanity, and we are medicated to death, driven to death by family members and medical professionals who treat us worse than how they’d treat animals, and there are people who advocate to stop us from being born if there are “signs of autism” in an otherwise perfectly healthy (and wanted) fetus, because they think our lives are a fate worse than death.
This book is like a cross-section of that culture.
The person who wrote this book is actively and knowingly – I don’t believe for a second that she’s just a well-meaning but misguided parent – contributing to a culture that wants her son dead. I hope he gets away from her quickly and never has to see her again. I hope he meets people who treat him like the worthy individual he is and help him heal from the trauma she’s caused. I’m so fucking sorry he has to cope with this book being out.
I don’t usually say things like “please unfollow me if”, but if you believe that autistic people should be medicated and sterilized against their will, or that cruelly and invasively mocking an already vulnerable 13-year-old in a bestselling book is acceptable, unfollow me.

A North Carolina cop who shot an unarmed black man in the back is going to jail for at least 19 years.
Michael Slager killed Walter Scott in 2015, while an officer with the
North Charleston Police Department. He was fired after video surfaced
that showed Slager firing at Scott as he fled. It was clear from the
footage that Slager was not in any danger: he just wanted to kill
Scott.
Even then, it took two years and one mistrial to bring him to justice.
I’m convinced we should have a naming system for mass murderers, like we do for hurricanes.
Instead of broadcasting their names and faces everywhere, which is exactly what they want, just go down the alphabet and assign some dumb name to them.
The news can still obsess over the case and talk about the killer, but now the headlines will be about Shooter Larry instead of their real name. And yes, it should be some silly commonplace name. Demystifying and deromanticizing these shitheads is the entire point.
“He was just a kid outside,” cousin Christian Delgado said.
The 14-year-old, identified by family as Jason Pero attended Ashland Middle School. Pero was in the school band and a member of the Native American Club. Classmates tell FOX21 Pero will be remembered for his great sense of humor. One family member Christian Delgado, describes Pero as harmless.
“Just kept to himself, didn’t bother anyone, really good,” Delgado said. “Just wouldn’t hurt a fly.”
The loss of the 14-year-old boy has truly shaken the community. A vigil has been set up, near the area where the shooting happened. The incident was addressed at school, the day after the shooting. Grievance councilors were on hand for students.
The superintendent tells FOX21 it’s hard to answer questions from students right now, because there are so many unknowns this early in the investigation.
“There wasn’t a dry eye in the place; boys, girls, it didn’t matter,” Ashland superintendent Keith Hiltz said. “There’s a deep hurt there and a lot of anger a lot of confusion how a 14-year-old boy could be involved in a police shooting.”
Meanwhile authorities did recover a knife at the scene.
Delgado believes Pero was unarmed and describes what a neighbor saw.
“He just came outside and just saw Jason laying there. He told the cops ‘what are you doing put your gun away,’ the cop wouldn’t listen, he was just still freaking out about it,” Delgado said. “They’re trained to not handle situations like that, I mean the last person Jason would have hurt, was somebody sticking up for him.”

this girl was sold by her parents into what is sexual slavery dressed up as a marriage, so she tried to kill her husband to escape his abuse, but accidentally poisoned 27 people instead. 17 people died, with at least one victim being a child. Bibi has openly expressed deep regret over having accidentally killed innocent people.
she was sold by her parents, the very people meant to protect her, and made into a sex slave. in her desperation, she made a mistake that cost innocent people their lives. she was then arrested by a legal system that could have prevented all of this by protecting women from sexual slavery in the first place, but won’t.
she will likely be abused in prison and sentenced to death.
she’s not “queen” or your “new best friend.” she’s a young woman who has been subjected to horrors and, in an effort to fight back, accidentally committed one, a fact that is likely destroying her.

to add to this; i really wonder how ‘shocking’ it was for his friends and family. people like this that commit racist hate crimes and racially charged murders don’t just wake up one day and think “well, i guess i’ll kill two black people today!” if he had copies of Hitler’s speeches, then it’s safe to say people were ware of his racism, and this crime could’ve been prevented.
it would not surprise me if he was known to make racist jokes, consistently used racial slurs and epithets and “joked” about killing people. it would also not surprise me if his friends and family either encouraged his behaviours, or simply ignored it.
