I Need Help

I’m moving at the end of the month, unless I get evicted before then.

I’m still 2 months behind on rent ($1140) and they might make me pay an extra month ($570) because I didn’t get my move notice in by the 1st. My PayPal account is overdrawn (by $550) and I have to pay that off before I can even use any donations to pay off my bills and rent. I’ll need money to move and to eat until I get settled in. I can probably afford to pay any rent and deposits to move into the new place, but my hours are so messed up that I can’t afford anything else.

I’m sure that if I move without paying off my back rent that they’ll make my life hell. And my current landlords are nice people, so I really don’t want to have to screw them over.

If there is any way anyone could help, even a reblog, that would be amazing.

My PayPal is https://www.paypal.me/drewhead.

No it’s not. Panoramas like this are a painstaking, labor-intensive digital product, not made by just “rolling down a hill”.

This image, “Big Sur,” is part of a series called “Alterrnative Perspectives” by photographer Randy Scott Slavin. It is an example of stereographic projection

“Slavin’s circular panoramic digital technique is a way of seeing only made possible through digital methods and is an orientation he masterfully devised after much experimentation. The time required to capture the images and then create the photographs, which can consist of hundreds of photos “stitched” together to create a single 360-degree image.” (Amy Frearson, Dezeen.com. 2 July 2012)

Here’s some more of his work:

I thought it was cool as is, but doubly so now with the right info

Donations Needed

I’ve never done this before, but I’m really struggling right now. I basically live paycheck to paycheck since moving out of my dads house, and one big setback has now cleared me of all my money.

I found my cat Berlioz (the one I just posted a video of) urinating a ton of blood in the tub this morning. Pictures for proof if anyone needs it:

Here is my good sweet boy:

I took him to an emergency vet and they quoted me $700 for his X-rays, blood work, and a gamut of other tests. This doesn’t include money for medications he may need to leave with. Please, if you can spare anything, you can send donations to my paypal at marisalorea@gmail.com

I can pay about half this balance on my own, but over the next month I won’t be able to pay off the other half off of my credit card, which will put me further into debt. I hate to ask for stuff like this, but when it comes to animals I really just want him to be safe and taken care of… thanks, share if you can

Hi guys, this is a reblog from my personal tumblr. My cat is very sick and I’m having a hard time paying for care. Please reblog and share to other animal lovers, or consider donating a dollar or two! Every bit would help me and Berlioz.

This will probably be my last signal boost but please consider taking the time to reblog! It’s simple and it helps me and Berlioz out a lot 🙏🏻

Hi, there. I’m R.

This is my family’s Amazon wish list. If you’re able, please help us by getting something off it.

It’s comprised of things that would make our lives a lot easier but that we can’t justify spending money on ourselves because: 1) our income is tiny and we have a three year old to support, and 2) every bit of “extra” money we get goes into savings to cover immigration fees/expenses to insure our family remains together in this hellscape of violent borders.

I am a Black, chronically ill genderweird lesbian and my partner is a Jewish, disabled trans woman. We’re pretty used to existing in the margins, and it can be an uncomfortable place. These little bits and bobs are as much a part of our getting on and survival as food and shelter.

Again, here is our wish list. Your help is deeply appreciated.

I also have a separate book wish list just for myself. Books are too expensive to buy at the rate I read them, and our local library is ridiculously underfunded and rarely has what I need. I’m a writer, and the items  on this list are mostly for research.

Hey. My feet are kind of in a state of emergency due to persistent athlete’s foot, and as a diabetic this is extremely dangerous. If you have the means, I hope you’ll consider getting a few things to help me combat this (soft wool socks, anti-fungals, urea cream). My family also has only one cereal bowl at the moment and one large drinking glass. Your contributions help us scrape by. Please share/reblog if you can. Infinite thanks.

Again, here is our wish list.

I’m down to my last $50. I got a new rheumatologist but copays to see her are $35, same with my endocrinologist and GYN. To see my primary care is another $20.  My new medicine combined with more PT is going to cost a not so pretty chunk of change. I still have to pay a few thousand for school this year, it’s my last year if everything goes well. I have rapidly increasing medical debt.

Literally anything will help, I wouldn’t be asking if I wasn’t desperate.

Please.
