Thursday, November 29th: Hi everyone, I’m Gemma and I don’t really expect much to come from this post but it is extremely important to me as I need help to get through the winter months, especially Christmas & New Year due to my benefit cuts.
If anyone has been following me for any amount of time, you’ll know how much I’ve been struggling these past few months due to my welfare benefits (Universal Credit & Housing Benefit) being revoked under the UK’s controversial changes to how benefits are assessed and assigned and due to my mental illnesses. It has been almost 1 year since my WCA health assessment when my benefit sanctions began and without any government aid I’ve been drowning in debt and struggling to make ends meet.
So far, I’ve been getting by with the help of some of the kindest people in the world but as it’s now winter where I live, I’m struggling to get groceries and keep my heating/water on to stay warm. So I’ve created a wishlistwith some essential items to help me get by and as many of the items are from the marketplace, you’ll need to join my listto buy any items. *I am unsure on how to fix this*
If anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would literally save my life and keep me warm and sharing definitely helps just as much as donations. You may have noticed I haven’t been online for a few weeks. That’s because
I’ve been very sick with a respiratory infection that left me
hardly able to speak or leave bed for almost a month, and cost me dearly in
medications.
I’ve just been to my fourth doctor appointment this month and been slapped with an enormous, unexpected bill. This has come atop my insurance premiums now taking a quarter of my tiny income each month, and being prescribed
important and expensive new medications not covered by insurance. All in all, my medical expenses now cost more than my rent. I’m multiply disabled and my total income is about half of what a full time minimum wage job pays.
I was able
to work out a payment plan for my doctor bill but even the smallest
payment possible leaves me just barely enough to afford my prescriptions
for the month, with mayyyybe $10 left over for food and transportation
and any other necessities for the next 3ish weeks.
I hate to ask again, but I’m a
little desperate. If you’re a financially comfortable adult who
genuinely wants to help,

I really don’t like posting on her blog myself but I’m in a situation that warrants it. Me and my girlfriend were kicked out by our roommates a couple of weeks ago, so I drove to Los Angeles with her to try and find a programming job there. However, we don’t have the money to last us much longer, so I’m posting here to ask for help.

If anyone is feeling generous this thanksgiving, my fur son Jiji is back to being unwell. I wrote a post a few months back about it, but unfortunately, his symptoms have returned and we’ve needed to go back to the vet. For me, this means paying for Ubers and the vet with no insurance, and I make just over $600/month with more than half of that going to my rent before bills.
My rent payment is already late, and I’ve tested my landlord’s patience in the past with late payments so I’m really scared of being evicted right now. My internet provider and hydro bills are also overdue and the net provider in particular is threatening to cut off service soon. Jiji’s vet also wants to run more tests that I just can’t afford, so I’m playing with his health, my housing and both of our well being. My cupboard has a box of pasta, some rice and potatoes. I can’t afford much beyond microwave dinners right now.
I hate begging strangers. I can’t stand it. It makes me feel ashamed as an adult that I don’t have people in my life who I can ask for help, so if there’s anyone out there willing to help out a stranger, my Paypal is paypal.me/victoriatb. Jiji’s vet called today to see if I wanted to book an appointment to check on the conditions of his kidneys, but I’m not able to afford this yet. If anyone can spare any change, absolutely anything would help. -V

I hate to ask for this but this should be the last time I ever need to do so since my job starts December 4:
Long story short, I was supposed to be at my aunt’s house until my job started, when she would feed me and give me money to take care of my bills, but rough weather meant my transportation there got cancelled and my aunt couldn’t make it over the mountain pass to pick me up, and now I’m in my house with no food and with a student loan bill of $250 (payment for December and November since I overdrafted on my bank account when they took November payment and my bank refunded it and fined me) due December 1st. So, if I can get $250 + $40-$60 for grocery money before my job starts (The training is in Vancouver and they’re covering my transportation and food for two weeks so I’ll be okay) that would save me after having the carpet yanked out from under my feet.

Boozhoo (hello), my name is Ken, I am a disabled Ojibwe artist from northern Wisconsin who has recently relocated to northern Minnesota to be closer to my children and have better access to healthcare. I am writing this post because I am having a hard time making ends meet and any donations I could possibly receive at this time would be greatly appreciated. This is Gia. She is the sweetest, most loving service dog. She was basically retired, but still does her job occasionally. She got mauled by another dog about a week ago, and the image on the right is her now. For More Images/Proof:Go Here *GRAPHIC*
Now, I’m not asking for anyone to cover her vet fees, or to help us put the other dog down. What we REALLY need, is some Pajamas for Gia. I have created a wishlist of Jammies for her. Now, you’re probably asking why she needs Jammies. She is a double coated dog, a chow chow. Without her coat, she can’t keep herself warm or regulate her temperature. And we live in Ohio, where it gets very cold. Our power has already gone out once this winter, Gia won’t be okay if she gets too cold. She can’t go outside, she can’t sleep, she can’t heal. These pajamas also help to keep the bandage on her neck stable, and keeps her from rubbing it off. She is bleeding, oozing over herself constantly, so we need a lot of pajamas to keep rotating them. They won’t just get used once, they’ll be used all winter and through the spring even! Until she is healed, they will be used and very appreciated.
If you can’t help us by buying her some pajamas, can you please reblog this? We got hit with $3000 of vet bills that we do not have the money for. And she is due for another surgery to remove the rest of the dead skin next week.

My partner’s teeth have been in constant and steadily worsening pain for over a year. We’re both disabled and living in poverty, so there’s no way we can save up for this on our own. Any donations, however little, and any reblogs will be deeply appreciated!
