Please share; we are in serious need. We are both disabled and on a fixed income. While Mum is on disability, the payout is minimal, and $200 is taken out for Medicare. She was a nurse and was forced to retire due to severe osteoarthritis and losing the fingers on her left hand due to a bloodclot.
I have severe ME/CFS and fibromyalgia that leaves me stuck on the couch several days out of the week. I was fired from my job for this reason. I am looking for editing work, but it’s difficult with my health. I am ineligible for SSDI, but can apply for SSI once I have a diagnosis from my GI doc and see a neurologist for my severe neuro problems (presyncope, muscle spasms, severe tremors and shaking). ME/CFS isn’t taken seriously by the government – nore diagnoses help. I use a wheelchair most of the time. Unfortunately, I can’t afford the neurologist because I owe her $30 and bills come first.
Any donation helps. Even $1. Really. If you can’t donate, sharing means so much.
We are unable to pay now for my mum’s absolutely critical seizure meds, our pain pills, and Nexium for me, which allows me to eat – I’m only 100 pounds. Bills are looming. I get food stamps (which doesn’t cover necessary gfree foods for my Celiac disease the whole month); my mum does not. We do food banks, Church charity, United Way. We’re still struggling. Please. Please, help by reblogging, or if you can donating.
So, we were robbed today. My mother keeps a stash of cash in a secret spot. It’s all from donations. Today, maintenance had to come in while Mum and I went to my surgeon appointment. Just now, my mother went into her room for the first time since we got home. The spot was disturbed. We lost the entire hoard: $350. We know who did it. However, the co-op manager is a tool, and maintenance guy has been here ten years. He’s also pulling in a lot of money working here, while we wallow in poverty. In any case, I have a feeling that since we can’t prove it, it’ll be ignored. What precious jewellery we still own (mostly heirlooms; we’ve pawned everything else) is accounted for, but we still have to count our pain pills. I am so angry I can’t think. We TRUSTED him. And now we have almost no money.
Please, PLEASE, share. I also have a PayPal account: hansonp@uwindsor.ca you can share. And if you can, please donate, even $5. We have almost no money now. We are beside ourselves. I had to fight to get those donations we lost, and we’re freaking out.
We will now be utilising a lock box and a better hiding spot. Like under a pile of dildos.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Aww Yisss
By the way, I have a second blog for my puppy Neo if you wanna check it out ❤. He’s a very smol fluff
Theresa May’s new partners in government have strong historical links with Loyalist paramilitary groups. Specifically, the terrorist group Ulster Resistance was founded by a collection of people who went on to be prominent DUP politicians. Peter Robinson, for example, who was DUP leader and Northern Ireland’s first minister until last year, was an active member of Ulster Resistance. The group’s activities included collaborating with other terrorist groups including the Ulster Volunteer Force, to smuggle arms into the UK, such as RPG rocket launchers.
Of course, Northern Ireland has moved towards peace, and the DUP, like their opponents in Sinn Fein, have rescinded violence. As part of that normalisation, the fact that parties which include people who have rescinded violence can be brought into the democratic process is a good thing. But for the Tories to end an election campaign which they spent attacking Corbyn for his alleged links to former Northern Irish terrorists by going into coalition with a party founded by former Northern Irish terrorists would be a deep irony….
The DUP also fights hard against women’s right to choose to have an abortion, making them the biggest pro-forced pregnancy party in the UK. The results in Northern Ireland are utterly grim for the many women each year who are in need of an abortion.
Despite being climate change deniers, they used their role in government in Northern Ireland to set up a subsidy scheme for biofuels, which gave those who bought into it more money than they had to pay out. The Northern Irish exchequer ended up paying out around half a billion pounds to those who knew about the scheme, leading to a scandal known as ‘cash for ash’, and a major investigation into whether DUP staff and supporters personally benefitted.
The DUP have fought to stop equal marriage, making Northern Ireland the only part of this archipelago without equal relationship rights. Last year, DUP MP Sammy Wilson was caught up in a scandal when a member of the public said that Northern Ireland ought to “get the ethnics out”, and he appeared to reply “you are absolutely right”.
The party backed Brexit, and as openDemocracy exposed earlier in the year, accepted a donation of £435,000 to pay for campaign materials across the UK. Under pressure, they admitted that the cash came from a shady group called the Constitutional Research Council, which is chaired by Scottish Tory Richard Cook. openDemocracy research showed that Cook founded a company in 2013 with the former head of the Saudi intelligence service, and a man who admitted to us that he was involved in a notorious incident in which hundreds of Kalashnikovs were flown to Hindu terrorists in West Bengal in 1995.

She has a bad UTI and I had to take her to the emergency animal hospital last night because she was in so much pain. The total was 550 dollars. She has medications to take and is feeling much better, but she will need another vet visit and urine analysis which will probably cost another 100 at least.
She’s 12 years old and the BEST cat ever. I want to make sure I can pay for her follow up appointment because of her age especially.
I work part time in retail and I’m trying to pursue a career in ceramics. Money is super tight. After some crappy life circumstances I was left in Michigan with no family or much support at all. I have my own health concerns and I don’t have anywhere else to turn.
I want to make sure my sweet cat gets the vet care she deserves!!

Boozhoo (hello), my name is Ken, I am a disabled Ojibwe artist from northern Wisconsin. I am writing this post because I am having a hard time making ends meet and any donations I could possibly receive at this time would be greatly appreciated. Recent events have left my bank account depleted, my cupboards bare, I’m unable to cover utility bills, and I have several out of state medical appointments in the very near future.
I do have PayPal, that is really the best way to donate at this time, the email I use for that is: baapimakwa@gmail.com, or you can click here.
