This is so funny. My friend listens to this murder podcast and one of them was about this random murder in staten island where this dude was found in a field or something.. anyway it was late 80s or early 90s and however the murder was staged they thought it was satan worship related. The podcasters talked about how Geraldo Rivera back when he was a “real journalist” did an extensively researched story on Satanism in white middle class america was as wide spread as drug use. It caused a massive panic bc u know america was rich and happy then so they needed a problem. It even got as far as the fbi having a task force to take care of these possible satanist cults. Its just so funny to me that Geraldo freaking Rivera caused all that. If only those fake Satanists had gained more power maybe the right wouldnt be destroying our nation. Damn you Geraldo for exposing them.

It’s a valid question for me-in the 80′s/early 90′s the police in my hometown did their best to declare RPGs “Satanic” and abused power to “discourage” gaming.
