my mom and i took her to the emergency clinic and they didn’t know what was wrong with her unless they do blood tests and xrays which would probably be over $1k. we couldn’t do it. they gave her a couple shots, fluids, and a flea treatment. that added up to $296. we literally could not pay them and gave them a post dated check for Friday. the only hope we have of that check going through is if we get donations. i’ve received nothing yet, not even a dollar. every dollar helps. PLEASE, donate anything, or at least SIGNAL BOOST. we may have to take her back to the vet if she doesn’t get better by tomorrow, and we won’t be able to if we still have a balance there. Please help my cat. She’s the sweetest thing, and she doesn’t deserve to suffer. I feel so helpless. I hate asking for money, but I’m doing this for her. Please.

I hate to make this post but my 14 year old dog is dying and every animal hospital nearby is closed for the holiday, we got in touch with an emergency care place but since its after hours its $180 just for them to open the doors for us. He’s been in this condition for hours and I refuse to let him suffer for another 13 hours til his vet opens.
I’m coming to terms with the fact that this is probably my last night ever with my dog but I’m just NOT prepared for this expense, plus whatever the costs of euthanization and cremation are gonna be. also I know this is so sappy of me but he’s my first pet ever and literally my best friend, I want to get him cremated and some kind of (inexpensive) memorial urn instead of just disposing of him. If any of you can spare some money it would mean the world to me. I dont want to be put in a position where I cant even afford my dog’s remains. good news: he’s fighting! He’s trying (and failing) to stand lol. Seems a bit less disoriented and stressed but he’s definitely not in the clear yet.
bad news: they want to run more tests, just to confirm what we walked in here already knowing. more tests = more $$$, and we already dropped $300 on the visit+meds, so once again, anything you guys can send me helps, no amount is too small. this is obviously going to be a costly ordeal.

Our cat is only a little over a year old and he has the health issues of an old cat. Hubble was diagnosed with lymphoma last Thursday (May31, 2018). They found that his entire intestinal tract is thickened, his lymph nodes swollen. The prognosis for dogs with lymphoma is poor at best. We are waiting on a biopsy to get scheduled, a 2-3k biopsy that I can’t afford. I am hoping for a miracle for my small space boy. I love him more than life itself, I cannot bear to lose him. Hubble continues to struggle to eat, probably due to the swelling in his intestines. Hopefully we can get him on steroids to reduce the swelling and hopefully encourage him to eat soon.
Right now I am not thankful for the time we have had, I’m so greedy for more, I want what I was promised, 12 years with the love of my life, my heart and soul. I planned all the things we would do over a lifetime, I did not expect to have to squeeze in every experience, a lifetime of moments in less than a year.
I’m struggling to juggle caring for Hubble, taking him to appointments, and taking him to do things and caring for the other 3. I wake up in the middle of the night terrified that he’s died in my bed, I check his breathing, his pulse, and cry myself back to sleep. I’m sure I will survive losing him, but I don’t want to, I don’t want to wake up and live without him, missing him. I close my eyes and see his body, the one I have held, loved, watched grow, in a black bag in the vet’s freezer.
His sports medicine vet said do anything he wants, do everything he likes. So I’ve started doing just that. But its not the same, knowing we are doing these things not just for fun but because we won’t be able to, because he won’t be here. Everyone tells me to live for now, for the moment, but its not possible to forget why I have to take Hubs on adventures everyday.
I could use a little help financially since before we even begin treatment it will be 5k, so if you need photos edited, please let me know. I want Hubble to be as healthy as possible for as long as possible, I want as many days with him as I can. Its really hard for me to ask for help, but Hubble needs it.
