I’ve been homeless for over two months now. I made the journey back down to the Central coast to be closer to friends, but promises of temporary shelter have completely fallen through. I’m now homeless in a county that has strict laws against homelessness. I can’t afford to pay a fine or go to jail.
If you could please donate to my Venmo @Candice-S-4 to help put me up for a couple of nights in a cheap hotel I would be forever grateful. I just need a safe space to stay in so that I can figure out where to go from here.

My need to stay in a hotel or in a hostel is incredibly overwhelming at this point. The homeless shelters out here are overcrowded and scary. The weather has been very cold and rainy so sleeping outside isn’t an option. I don’t have clothes to keep me warm.
Any donation, no matter how small, will greatly improve my quality of life. I just need a place to stay even if it’s only temporary so I can get back on my feet. I’m so tired of living in fear every single day.

hello! I don’t know if anyone has already made a post about this before, but I just stumbled upon this app made specifically for when you’ve gone into a nonverbal anxiety attack!!!
it was made by Jeroen De Busser who is an autistic computer science student.
the app is really easy to use! all you do is open it and hand your phone to someone you need to communicate with during an attack but physically cannot, and it shows this cool little alert for the person to read, and then it takes them to an easy to use chat (that looks a lot like texting! except both of you are communicating using the same device).
the alert message is completely customizable and you can have it say whatever you need!
the app is called Emergency Chat and it’s available in the Apple Store and google play store.
I highly recommend it to anyone who might need it 🙂

As many of you already know, I’ve been struggling a lot these past few months, due to my welfare benefits being revoked and without any government aid, I’ve been struggling to make ends meet. So far, I’ve been getting by with the help of some of the kindest people in the world but as it’s now winter where I live, I’m struggling to get through the festive period. To make things worse, I’m not due to receive a partial-benefit payment until the New Year and I desperately need help.I need at least £150, to help me get groceries/supplies and pay a few essential bills (keeping my gas + electricity on) throughout Christmas & New Year.
I’ve also created a wishlist with some essential items + Christmas gifts to help me get by (thermal clothing, boots etc..) and as many of the items are from the marketplace, you’ll need to join my listto buy any items.
If anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would literally save my life and keep me warm and sharing definitely helps just as much as donations.
