The site the shithead OP is talking about is https://refusefascism.org/ where they’re calling for a massive protest on November 4th (a date symbolic to any former Anonymous, due to the use of the Guy Fawkes mask and the related plot of the comic/movie V for Vendetta). The site makes no claims of a violent revolution or civil war, and is just a call to protest against the Trump/Pence administration.

No, the issue here is I’m an adult by law. I should have the right to buy whatever the hell I want as long as I don’t hurt somebody else with it. I’m signed up for the draft, clearly I’m old enough to die for this country, but I can’t buy a beer. Bull shit. If I want to buy beer or any other form off alcohol and I am responsible with it, I should have the right to do so.
That was exactly the argument that got the age of majority in the US decreased to 18 in the early ‘70s. Prompted by the Vietnam War. If people were old enough to be drafted at 18, they should have full civil rights and be able to vote.

It’s not a case of “only perfect people get statues”, it’s a case of legacy, what did they do, what does it mean now and is a statue better suited to a public area or a museum in order to actually understand the context of the person and not glorify the negative things they strove to uphold.

i found this post on facebook this morning and went to My Generation to tally their dolls by skin color just to see how absolutely out of proportion the OP was blowing things.
they have 106 dolls total on target’s website. 87 of these dolls are white. 46 of those white dolls are blonde. counting all their total dolls of color, you get 19 (and that’s being generous and tallying any exceptionally tan ones). only one of these dolls resembles someone east asian.
so yeah, this lady only found 8 dolls (two of which are from seperate brands) and she’s still steamed when the brand she was looking at has 87 white dolls for her racist ass to choose from.
