As far as I can remember I have always loved rats and any rodent people would call “pest”. When I first got pet rats, I was thrilled to discover they were so clean, smart and affectionate, very far from the nasty dirty rat myth most people believe in.
Thus, I decided to rescue and foster abandoned and abused rats until I could find them a forever home. This led me to take pictures of them: finding a home to a rat is not an easy task since they suffer from a very bad reputation and I had to make their cute personalities stand out so people would consider adopting them.

fun fact: the media keeps trying to imply that diego costa (white jersey) bit gareth barry (blue jersey) out of some sort of hetero football-rage during the game but barry insists it wasn’t a bite which is apparently a hard concept for the football association to grasp cause they cant think of any other explaination for the above image lmao

I think my favorite part of this gif is the third guy walking by in the background, who judging by his expression is pretty sure he’s just won the league-wide betting pool on when these dudes will finally break down and admit their love.

Yeah, speaking of getting cold a lot? Right now it’s showing 19°C/66°F. It has tp be warmer in the house. So, I got the shivers–while I was eating more of that stew, no less–and had to turn a heater on 😒

The agreed cutoff for when I could leave in shorts when I was a kid? 65.

(Of course, with the temperature swings back home, it could easily be under that in the morning and 90 by the time we got out of school. So I wasn’t so happy about that guideline then. But, my how things can change…)

Well, somebody is getting some good out of that “cat lodge”. The roof, at least 😽

It’s starting to get a little dark out there now, but Mirrors doesn’t care. He’s been spending at least half his time lounging on the handy kitty sun deck whenever it’s not actively raining, since the weather has been warmish lately.

Still out there in the dark, almost 2 hours later. And looking about as happy with the flash as you might expect.
