I once reblogged a post about how a women’s bathroom was an important place of refuge, and that was why women often go to the bathroom in groups or to cry and why people leave those domestic abuse cards in women’s bathrooms, and how it’s the one place women can be away from men, and I was like “this is a fantastic post, yes” and then I found out the OP was a TERF and that post was suddenly no longer about safety in women’s restrooms. It was actually about wanting to make it impossible for trans women to pee in a public restroom. It was about making trans women seem like they invade a sacred place and make it dangerous. You bet your ass I deleted that reblog.

Funny thing – a woman who applied for welfare after her husband left her hadto supply DNA evidence he was actually the father. The results: he was definitely the father, but she wasn’t the mother. Her children were removed from her custody and she was sued for fraud, even though she insisted they were her children.
Turns out, she wasn’t a surrogate or a kidnapper (the two most obvious explanations) – she was a chimera. As an embryo, she fused at a very early stage with her twin, forming one individual. Her ovaries apparently developed from cells that had originally belonged to her vanished twin. Later on more tests showed that while the woman’s skin and hair DNA did not match her childrens, DNA taken from her cervix did.

As time came for her to give birth to her third child, the judge ordered a witness be present at the birth. This witness was to ensure that blood samples were immediately taken from both the child and Fairchild. Two weeks later, DNA tests indicated that she was not the mother of that child either.
At Monta Vista High School in Cupertino, California, every single black student was reportedly put on a “n*gger kill list” created by between six and 10 nonblack students at the school, the Root reported.
Students shared the list on social media, but when those responsible were identified, no one was disciplined, community members say.
A spokesperson from the school district said that “appropriate disciplinary action” had been taken, according to the Root.
The high school is only 0.1% black, and the black community in Cupertino is still seeking justice.
Attorney Richard Richardsonfiled a lawsuit on behalf of one student on the list, who has since left school amid the racial tensions and threats.
The lawsuit accuses the school’s Fremont Union High School District of violating federal and civil rights claims and state education codes because they did not prevent discrimination against black students nor did they enforce anti-bullying policies.
Other black community leaders have accused the school of not properly notifying the students or parents about the discovery. Read more (6/15/17)
