“No one is homeless when they’re dead”
Is this supposed to be comforting? I don’t know the context of this message, but homeless people deserve all of the comfort that everybody else has.
No one should have to suffer when others can do something to stop it.
I’ve been told this as a disabled person and “No one is homeless in hell” as a queer person. Like, could y’all make up your minds? Either way, I’m homeless whether good dead, bad dead, or alive (though not currently, but that’s recent) so…leave me alone to die when and as I wish.

Squatters turn oligarch’s empty London property into homeless shelter
There must be loads of properties like this in Kensington. 2,000 homes have been destroyed in the Grenfell fire – if ever there was a need to repossess the idle luxury flats of speculators it’s now.
The house is one of four purchased by Goncharenko over a three-year period, including Hanover Lodge, in Regent’s Park, for which he paid £120m – making it one of the UK’s most expensive homes.
