The High Existence rhetoric that ignores all context and circumstance. This shit is really gross. Yes, there are mindsets and techniques people can develop in any circumstance that can potentially make them happier and more adaptable, but to ignore the structural realities that keep people pushed down, that keep us locked in competition with each other, that keep us wishing for a better life after we die, that keep us perpetually stressed – to shut out those realities is to live in willfully-ignorant idealism.
