And an anti-Corbyn advert, paid for by the Conservatives, even became to the most-viewed political advert ever in the UK…

‘If you contact young people with a positive message, you’re telling them that you care. The Tories didn’t do that.’

My partner’s comment on one of the endless ads on YouTube: “This is obviously supposed to be negative, but what I’m getting out of it is that Corbyn at least seems to show some kind of consistency and integrity in his positions.” 🙄

I just need questioning girls to know that it doesn’t mean shit if you feel like being attracted to women is like…new for you. it doesn’t mean you “made it up” or are “not really into girls”. it’s perfectly normal to feel blindsided by sapphic love and attraction after a lifetime of suppressing it, excusing it, and ignoring it. all it means is that you’re finally letting yourself feel it.

i know. i was adding another possibility. it’s ok to discover an attraction that you’ve been pressured by society to suppress. it’s also ok if it’s genuinely new – not everyone has to fit a “born this way” story. all im saying is that, however you arrive at that point in your sexuality (or gender), like you say it doesn’t mean you made it up or it’s not real.

They voted for Trump because he said he would run our country like a business. Which obviously entails callously making money off of poverty, completely disregarding small businesses and devastating poor communities & deepening food desserts. Top 1% playbook.

Like I stated, the main goal of this is to profit off of poverty. But additionally, large retailers wont see that much of a hit off their bottom line due to this new fee. It is the smaller stores that will be affected and might possibly just choose to stop accepting SNAP. So either smaller stores in low income areas will lose money that they can’t afford OR low income areas that are already food desserts will lose yet another necessary resource.

Depressing, because I doubt many will speak out about this because everyone loves to hate poor people

Trading women’s reproductive rights for political power is despicable. This is a callous political move that puts women at risk & should be condemned in the strongest possible terms. Pay attention to which politicians support this strategy, because they need to GO.

If this does happen can Scotland refuse to comply and keep the limits as they are, due to the Scottish NHS being devolved?

This is disgraceful. Women always suffer most when right wing nutters are in power.

I’m not sure if Scotland can have its own law regarding it. Anyone able to help out?

one of the amendments to the Scotland Act 2016 was that Scotland could have its own law/s regarding abortion. so hey maybe in 5 years English women will be travelling to Scotland for abortions.

Actually I believe the DUP contacted Marco Biagi while he was minister to agree to prevent women from Northern Ireland coming to Scotland for abortion.

Thankfully we told them where to go.
