Like when I say sex work is “just a job” I don’t mean that it can’t be traumatic but do you know how many women I know who’ve literally gotten PTSD from workplace treatment in the software development industry.

Boozhoo (hello), my name is Ken, I am a disabled Ojibwe artist from northern Wisconsin. I am writing this post because I am having a hard time making ends meet and any donations I could possibly receive at this time would be greatly appreciated. Recent events have left my bank account depleted, my cupboards bare, I’m unable to cover utility bills, and I have several out of state medical appointments in the very near future.

I do have PayPal, that is really the best way to donate at this time, the email I use for that is: baapimakwa@gmail.com, or you can click here.

Its weird how gay men and trans women have this shared experience but we dont talk abt like the relation trans men and lesbians have with each other.

i know this sounds weird but i think that’s more of a secret conversation. like i think it is absolutely talked about but it’s just not public. this makes it sound like there’s some kind of afab illuminati but it’s not that sinister

i’d say this is mostly a tumblr phenomenon. most afrocentric black lesbian/trans man communities i’ve experienced offline were tight knit and had all kinds of convos and discussions about the relation and were basically a family/support group. these communities were not upper middle class and had no serious exposure to academia too as a caveat

I’d also say that in general outside of liberal arts colleges and cities large enough to have multiple opposed communities LGBT people generally get along in solidarity with each other
