The FBI identified the gunman who opened fire this morning during a congressional baseball practice in Alexandria, Virginia, as James T. Hodgkinson, 66, of Belleville, Illinois. The bureau said Hodgkinson was taken to the hospital, where he died.

It would be totally preventable if only they paid attention to his violence against women.

For years, my grandmother swore that one night a ball of lighting rolled through the living room out of one of the electrical sockets and then disappeared. It left no marks, no injuries, and I always thought she had just been seeing things. This is wild!

this post has single handedly ruined my desire to play a rogue in any rpg ever

Thieves guild: a group of people that have had to resort to thieving to survive, come to the conclusion that the people that are in power and rich don’t deserve their positions and steal back that wealth. Thief guilds are primarily formed due to corrupt governments that stomp the people into the ground and are unsympathetic to their struggles.

Shoplifting fandom: middle class teenagers and young adults that want to feel dangerous, don’t want to work for that 50 dollar eyeliner and already have stable lives where they don’t have to worry about money or consequences.

In conclusion: Thief guilds are cool and I will not stand by and let them be insulted like this.

At the time when women in China were married, they would have their hair combed in a different way to signal to society and any men interested in courting them that they were not available. While the terms we use now for asexual or aromantic did not exist yet, the Golden Orchid societies had a system set up for women who wanted to avoid both marriage options and any romantic or sexual partnership by introducing “self-combing women.” These women would comb their hair into the style of a woman that was married and often even had a ceremony to celebrate such a decision, similar to a marriage ceremony.
