Yesterday, September 1st, was my birthday! If you want to give me a birthday present, all I really want is money for groceries so I can buy food for my new house. My paypal.me is here.
So… I had an infected cut and had to go to the emergency room last night, where they gave me a script for antibiotics. I also have to see my GP about a script renewal for my antidepressants and anxiety medication, which are basically the only things that keep me going.
Here is a detailed explanation for my financial and mental situation.
The antibiotics should be about $10, the doctor’s appointment $85, my antidepressants $44, and my anxiety meds $30. This equals $169.
If you are able to donate, here is a link to my Paypal.
All the love and appreciation to everyone who signal boosts and donates ❤
The narrative surrounding last weekend’s protests in Berkeley took shape on social media and was picked up, at least in part, by mainstream news outlets. The result was a skewed presentation of events that was almost entirely devoid of the context in which they took place. Even more troubling: that narrative was influenced by pro-Russian social media networks, including state-sponsored propaganda outlets, botnets, cyborgs, and individual users.
