you’re allowed to tell people not to hug you, not to hold your hand, not to kiss your cheek, not to play with your hair, not to put their hands on you in any way without your permission. you’re allowed to be uncomfortable with these kinds of touching, to tell people that, and to have those boundaries respected. just because a touch isn’t sexual doesn’t mean that you’re not allowed to have a problem with it.
you’re allowed to create boundaries about what happens with your body and what other people do with it, regardless of those people’s motivations or their relationship to you. it isn’t only sexual touching people need your consent for and it isn’t only sexual touching that you’re allowed to revoke your consent for. people should not be touching you when you don’t want them to no matter what kind of touching it is.
when i was a child i thought ‘male enhancement’ pills just made you a better guy. they made you pleasant to be around. the man on the commercial had a big smile on his face and they made a point of how happy his wife was and everyone loved him. this is honestly what i thought

Even fewer are preserved intact. Pterosaur bones were thin and fragile, much like bird bones, and they often drifted apart, shattered, or became scrambled before they could be preserved. Pterosaur fossils are also easily damaged when extracted, transported, or prepared for study or display. looking through old report cards from elementary school is ridiculous. like how can u get the “doesn’t complete work, doesn’t stay on task” comments several years in a row without someone asking what the fuck is going on
i think it is also attributed to the fact that i was gifted + hyperlexic so they didn’t really pay attention to my problems lol
this is mercy, and this is the only picture i have of her on my phone without one of her sisters in it.
mercy got beaten up pretty badly a few days ago by a stray cat when she was outside with my mom and her partner. they brought her back inside and she’s been resting ever since. she was limping on her front left leg, but seemed to slowly be getting better. just now she went outside with me to walk blake to his car and she jumped off the porch railing, and hurt her front left leg even worse. she can’t even put weight on it now, and it has started swelling pretty badly near her shoulder. 😦
idk if my mom is going to have the money (she missed a week of work to take care of my sister after her emergency gallbladder surgery) to take her to the vet, but she desperately needs to see one, i know it. she’s growling and hissing every time i try to touch her. this is not her typical behavior by a long shot.
my mom and her girlfriend raised mercy from a tiny baby, after they rescued her in the 2016 flood we had here. she’s like my mom’s gf’s own child. she’s going through a lot right now, and she doesn’t want her cat to suffer, she’d do anything for this cat. but everyone in our house is broke right now.

we’re all short on money, and mercy is such a sweet baby, barely over a year old. i don’t want her condition to get worse, or it be something worse than just a sore leg, and us not be able to treat it properly.
