We need a new bed

Anyways, it appears we made bad travel decisions previously and ended up with bed bugs. Our bed was already horrid. It’s a hand me down that’s probably almost as old as me. It’s busted and honestly it’s sourced for some of my back pain. So, we’re at the decision that it’s not worth salvaging anymore.

But a new bed is a lot of money we really don’t have. And even with saving up it looks too difficult to get the full amount we need. So, if anyone would like to donate to us to replace our bed, we’d be eternally grateful. We’re throwing out this bad one and going to have people spray for bugs before we rush out to buy another one, so there’s a little time to raise the money.

As a preface to what I’m gonna say, I do in fact vote. I think that despite electoral politics being a rigged hellmachine there are material consequences (however minor) for workers and marginalized people that make dragging my ass to the polls worth it even if it’s never going to end any of the horrors of capitalism and all politicians are demons. Ok, got that out of the way.

Now THAT SAID, please listen to what people who don’t vote are saying. Listen to people who are saying they’re so disenfranchised by this system that they don’t see a point. Listen to people talking about how where they live their votes probably won’t be counted anyways. Don’t just scream them down and accuse them of being Russian bots or some shit. These are real problems that deserve attention and respect – and if your main strategy to mobilize voters is swearing at them on the internet you might want to rethink things.

I yelled at a woman for putting an entire trolley on a top shelf of an aisle in a supermarket – her kid was still in the trolley, and the shelf was full of glass bottles.

I had to check if this was @fuck-customers or @one-time-i-dreamt because honestly, both would be plausible.

@pregnantseinfeld informed me that I was in a Buzzfeed article (with @creamynut and @bootyscientist2) a few months ago and had no idea.

Turns out that Buzzfeed just embeds Tumblr posts.

So if they take a post you’re in and say, embed it from your blog:

You can go back to the post and edit it to whatever you want and it will appear in the article like that. So you can do things like add “pay me royalties” 100 times

and upload 10 pictures of Waluigi in the T Pose

And ruin the article formatting.
