‪All these galaxy brain ideas just to avoid confronting the reality that capitalism operates on the presumption that resources are unlimited. To combat climate change, we have to consume/produce less & consume differently. But that would interfere with profits of multinational corporations.‬

That idea is dumb as fuck and would negatively impact so many organisms that are dependent on the sun. Just destroy capitalism already.

The sun is not a fucking lightbulb

The more we get into the future the more and more it becomes like a futurama episode written by some sort of surrealist author and idk how to deal with it without copious amounts of alcohol

Legit the plot of Snow Piercer

This is that episode of Futurama where they make a giant mirror to reflect the suns rays but it flips around and becomes a death ray and blasts earth

Teenage alcoholism is so important to recognise. It is not healthy to be getting absolutely wasted a few times a week and sometimes young adults become alcoholic without realising it. If you are unable to have a fun time without drinking or you feel like you need to drink when others are in an overwhelming way then consider getting help.

No really. Get help. It starts with parties, and then it’s “lol im just sad all the time” and before you know it everything is awful and you’re spiralling out of control. Don’t get sucked in and don’t let tumblr Depression Culture make you think it’s normal.

Yoooo this isn’t just teenagers it’s a young adult problem, particularly among college students. I knew people that were drinking nearly every night of the week. People that felt like they weren’t having fun unless they were drinking. Some tone it down after college, some do not. I self-medicated with alcohol and put myself at risk by 22.

I actually had a close encounter of the foxy kind this evening, heading out to the store.

What looked like a fairly young one was trotting down the middle of the side street, right in front of a car which had just turned in. Lucky the driver seemed to be paying decent attention.

Anyway, that went on for about half a block before Foxy decided to take their chances turning into our parking area within a few feet of me standing there. I stayed still and said hello, but they really were not interested in hanging around. (What a surprise.)

Haven’t seen one that close up in a while, at least since that last one came exploring through the back door one night over the summer. And promptly got chased back down the hall and out the door by Feist 😾 The one earlier must have really wanted away from that car to dash into our garden.
