Hi! I’m not exactly sure how to go about this, but I’ll do my best. Sorry for lack of pics, I’m on mobile. There’s pictures of her in the link, though!

My cat Alley has cancer. For a year now we’ve been combating an increasingly stubborn ear infection, and now she has a huge tumour on the side of her head and is rapidly losing weight. I got a referall from my vet to the animal hospital, but even the evaluation would cost over 100 dollars. In fact, in the worst case scenario the total for surgery and other measures comes out to over 4,000 dollars. My brother and I are having a difficult time finding work, and our parents cannot help us. We also have bills to pay and rent is due so there are very many things that we are unable to scrounge up enough money for.

Alley is nearly 16 years old and was born with twisted hind legs. She and her siblings were born right on my back porch when I was 3 (maybe 4) years old… Her mother wanted nothing to do with her so we had to work to save her life, and she has been a strong willed, amazing cat from the very beginning. We lost her sister almost 4 years ago to cancer as well, and are desperate not to lose our little fighter as well. She is everything to me and I would do anything to keep her with me, happy and healthy. She’s still got so much energy left (my bed is over 2 feet off the ground and she STILL climbs up on it like it’s no big deal) and before this was in amazing shape for a cat her age, so we refuse to give up on her.

Could we start signal boosting this again? The tumour is getting bigger, and it’s nearing the size of the abcess she had last October. That abcess nearly killed her, it was very close to restricting her airway when we got her to the vet and I’m terrified that the tumour may do the same.

PLEASE spread this. I grew up with this cat, she’s everything to me, my brother and I are desperately trying to find jobs but we both are mentally ill and autistic and it’s difficult. We have around $230 but it’s not enough so please spread it.

as far as i know (which isn’t a lot lol) Singapore, Malaysia, Hong kong, Macau, Indonesia & india etc have a bilingual education system in place that implements the teaching of our mother tongue & english from the day we enrol school (6y/o) mainly because of how the imperialists made the education system. We learn both languages through primary, secondary and tertiary education and english may or may not be the main language of instruction in the education system.

which kinda sucks because my proficiency in English is native proficiency and my mother tongue is horrendous. i have to force my parents to speak to me in chinese so i don’t become a total potato at it lol
