Today’s aesthetic: getting into a political slapfight on Tumblr and only realising a dozen posts in that you’ve been arguing with a Sonic the Hedgehog RP blog.
And said blog questions why people hate the police.
I’ve gotta admit the openly authoritarian Sonic the Hedgehog fans occasionally give me pause. I mean, we’re talking about a series where in most games the only visible apparatus of state is a technocratic empire ruled by a guy who looks like the Walrus from Alice in Wonderland fucked the Blue Meanie, and half the evil robot enforcers have blatant Cop Aesthetic. Where do you get “authority is awesome” out of that?
