All too often we are told by liberal environmentalists, and not a few deep ecologists, that it is “we” as a species or, at least, “we” as an amalgam of “anthropocentric” individuals that are responsible for the breakdown of the web of life. I remember an “environmental” presentation staged by the Museum of Natural History in New York during the 1970s in which the public was exposed to a long series of exhibits, each depicting examples of pollution and ecological disruption. The exhibit which closed the presentation carried a startling sign, “The Most Dangerous Animal on Earth.” It consisted simply of a huge mirror which reflected back the person who stood in front of it. I remember a black child standing in front of that mirror while a white school teacher tried to explain the message which this arrogant exhibit tried to convey. Mind you, there was no exhibit of corporate boards of directors planning to deforest a mountainside or of government officials acting in collusion with them.

Black Men in the Goth Scene

Why are black men shown as hypermasculine, violent and uneducated?

Shedding light on an alternative image could break these barriers. Next week we will be focusing on the role of black men in goth subculture under the Scene.

When you realize 12 year old Don Jr made one of the best and most accurate disses in all of American history.

Boi if this is true and accurate 😂😂😂

Sorta heartbreaking tho.

If true it explains a lot. All the Trumps are disfunctional.

This is not a happy family. Not remotely.

That could be one good thing to come out of this, is the son becomes the complete opposite of the father. Now he’d be a president to vote for.

Seriously, Melania needs to get a divorce.

For the boy’s sake if nothing else.

OK, so Jr. said that when he was 12, but where is he now? Right there by the bloated cheeto’s side, ready to take the fall like a good little boy. Fuck him.

that gif is heartbreaking, and it fucking scares me

I know that feeling in the gif all too well. She *does* need a divorce but I am guessing there is some sort of contract she is stuck in since that fucker won the election  (just a personal theory)

“As many of you know, I attended the University of Pennsylvania with Donald Trump Jr. I feel compelled to share this story before the election, in the hopes that it will shed a bit of light on the kind of person that Donald Trump is, and the kind of son that he raised.

I was hanging out in a freshman dorm with some friends, next door to Donald Jr.’s room. I walked out of the room to find Donald Trump at his son’s door, there to pick him up for a baseball game. There were quite a few students standing around watching, trying to catch a glimpse of the famed real estate magnate. Don Jr. opened the door, wearing a Yankee jersey. Without saying a word, his father slapped him across the face, knocking him to the floor in front of all of his classmates. He simply said “put on a suit and meet me outside,” and closed the door.

Donald Jr. was a drunk in college. Every memory I have of him is of him stumbling around campus falling over or passing out in public, with his arm in a sling from injuring himself while drinking. He absolutely despised his father, and hated the attention that his last name afforded him. His nickname was “Diaper Don,” because of his tendency to fall asleep drunk in other people’s beds and urinate. I always felt terrible for him.

I am voting for Hillary Clinton for a number of reasons, her opponent notwithstanding. However, in light of what I saw that day, it is clear to me that Donald Trump lacks the temperament and basic social decency to run our country.“

Sounds like we’re watching the cycle of abuse play out in real time. He’s still trying to prove he’s worthy, even as he hates himself for it… I guess.

Unfortunately, DJT Jr. is not on the path to becoming the opposite of his father. As long as he’s pulling his coattails for approval, no matter how much he despises him, his enmeshment with him guarantees repeating his father’s mistakes.

He’s getting into politics, just like daddy. Please don’t vote for him. Cuomo’s a tool, but once in a while he actually gets it right if pushed.

Heyyyyyy so if you can help me and my kids out, I’d be really appreciative?

I’m kind of just needing a little extra help so I can keep the lights and such on.  I started work today but I’m not going to receive an actual paycheck beyond just orientation until August 4th, I believe?  So until then, I’m just trying to get by.

I appreciate it!

I’m halfway there now, y’all! Thank you so much!

😙

Ahhhhh so I’m probably going to have to increase my goal because my car literally died on the side of the road and I’m gonna have to get it towed and figure out how to get to work.
