Tumblr mobile users: okay so the post button is barely accessible because it’s not always viewable unless you stop scrolling, the tag system is completely broken, you have to scroll for 30 minutes through the “popular” sorting of a tag to get to stuff that is actually popular, porn bots are running rampant, LGBT+ friendly blogs are being marked NSFW, images fail to load 99% of the time, there is a huge discrepancy between the site’s functionality on the desktop and on mobile, sometimes you can browse a blog’s tags and sometimes you can’t even if they tag things regularly, the tag search system searches for posts containing the word instead of being tagged with the word, you still can’t add images to text posts which is an important part of making fresh memes, your error messages are incredibly uninformative in a failed attempt to sound cool, and the mobile app experience is overall frustrating at best and unusable at worst

Family says they were just riding four wheelers and the cops claim there is a burglary. Police are always suspicious of black skin, incriminating black skin.
My opinion is a ‘family pet’ is going to be cared for primarily by the adults, so the ‘best’ family pet is one that the adults will be able to care for well, and remain interested in.
Even if the ‘intention’ is to have the kids responsible for part of its care, ultimate responsibility must remain with the adults. Adults don’t get to put any blame on the kids for what happens to the pet if they forget to do something, or if the pet gets sick. They can’t expect kids to be completely responsible for the pet’s entire life.
It’s depressingly common how often I see families that expect an 8 year old to be making serious decisions about a pet, or who have just thrown kids in the deep end with pet care and expect them to ‘learn’ when things are going wrong. This is unfair for everyone involved.
So the ‘best’ family pet is something that the adults are prepared to take on.
OK, getting down for a nap is finally starting to look like a reasonable plan after the disruption earlier. (And trying to deal with the blood sugar crash.) At after 3 p.m. 🙄
Very convenient. But, fuck it–I got less than 4 hours of sleep earlier. Still kind of glad Mr. C had some plans after work, so I’m not stressing myself trying to work my crazy schedule around anyone else’s today.
can we stop ??? lumping bi/pan ?? With aro/ace/demi ?? like stop using us ??? To further your argument ???? please ?? its honestly so irritating to see people comparing biphobia to aphobia ?? like theyre in no way similar ?? like huge difference ?? The bi discourse was trying to kick out people that do feel s/mga ??? and well ace discourse is ?? trying to kick out ??? straight cis people ???
I mean you’re literally wrong but go off i guess
I remember dealing with exclusionary LG’s and they basically said the same thing. They were kicking out “confused straight people”.
And even once that was over I remember similar arguments about how trans people don’t belong because it’s not a sexuality.
The LGBT is a constructed group, and you don’t have to believe that ace people belong, but this argument is classic essentialism and every time I hear it I’m reminded that the only reason it’s not applied to me is because the bi and trans communities won those arguments.
Hey op maybe stop telling bi and pan people to shut up about their experiences and how they present them and compare them. Silencing bi/pan people who make points against your personal views about a-specs is literally proving the point
also my dad got so used to 1970s Chicago police taking ‘bribes’ that when he moved to LA and got pulled over for a busted taillight and he slipped some cash underneath his license the cop was like “I see youre from Chicago so Im going to warn you to never try that again here”
Apparently he never learned the pro Chicago strat, which was to have two wallets.
One wallet was your normal wallet you used.
The other just had your license, registration, and $20, and lived in the glove compartment. You hand *that* one to the cop. It would either come back full, with a ticket, or empty, without one.
