Oh! I’ve explained it before, but I know some people haven’t seen the explanation, so here it is:
Mr. Slash has made friends with an elderly woman who lives about three houses down from me. He gets the flowers from her garden. They are Camellias, so they grow, and fall off the bush by the handful, and he goes over there at night, and takes every single one from the ground, to bring back to me.
So, when I said he was stealing them, it was somewhat inaccurate. It’s actually more like he’s helping an old woman clean her garden up, and giving me gifts at the same time. She knows who he is, and where he comes from, and knows what he does.
This is delightful, and what a beautiful cat he is!
This sweet pea needs a new home! If anyone in the northwest Arkansas area want a floppy cat who is the most tolerant cat I’ve ever known (I’m sure she’d be amazing around all kids) just message me! We are only allowed to have 2 cats, but around Christmas on a cold night we heard her meowing at our door. We let her in, and she immediately ran to our cat’s food dish and stuffed her face! The poor thing was shivering and so skinny, but after a few vet visits she’s back to great health! She is not microchipped but she has had her first round of shots and will need a booster in about a year from now. She’s FIV negative so no need to worry about that. She’s obviously free to a good home, but she won’t come with any toys. She does love playing with chewed straws so she’s adorably quirky. XD If you can’t adopt her, please boost this! I don’t want to get kicked out of my apartment!
Hey folks! As some of you might now, my name is Rouke, I live in the UK, and I’m a 23 y/o Autistic queer person with cptsd from childhood abuse.
I struggle really badly with sleep, since going to bed triggers horrible emotional flashbacks and feelings of danger and panic. Every single night is a struggle. This deeply affects all aspects of my life, and not getting proper rest makes my mental health so much worse.
I am lucky enough to have the chance to get a service dog prospect puppy, a standard poodle, from an absolutely amazing breeder that has experience helping people like me. I’m already involved with local assistance dog stuff and dog sit a service dog in training. He’s a very sweet boy that keeps me calm while I’m struggling to fall asleep, so I know having my own would be life changing.
I have been trying to get a job all summer, retail, cleaning, anything, but with zero luck. So I find myself in pretty bad financial difficulty. I can cover the £900 for the puppy, but everything else is going to be a struggle. Vaccination costs, health insurance, and service dog training are not cheap. Plus all the various stuff any normal dog needs.
Obviously I’ll go without so this dog has everything it needs. Right now I’m basically eating frozen foods whoever lived in my summer student accommodation before me left in the freezer, and sandwiches out of discounted stale bread and some deli meats my grandparents sent me, to try and save money.
I have until mid October to get everything ready. If you can spare a bit of money, please, consider sending some of it my way. I would be so incredibly thankful. And of course, I will be posting plenty of updates and photos of the puppy’s progress, so you can see exactly what you helped make possible!
Please. I’m seriously getting so desperate. This is my best shot at getting something that will greatly improve my quality of life. I don’t know what I would do without it.

This is also the only time I can remember that a virus is making my asthma flare up, without being super snotty to help trigger it. Weird.
It took me a while to even put together that it’s probably this virus doing it. Guessing it’s not coincidental, though.
I’m also getting a weird rash on my stomach now 🤔 It’s been itching for a while, but I just noticed that a blistery rash is coming up. (Only there so far. *fingers crossed*)
I’m really good at breaking out, but something else that doesn’t seem entirely coincidental.
Time for some hydrocortisone cream and some sleep, I think.
I don’t want to come across as whining excessively. But, I really don’t like getting Muggle sick on top of the existing shit. Not least because it usually fucks up my blood sugar for weeks.
Sometimes around like 95 he said he didn’t need more money. He’s given away literally millions to his town (he had a little league field(?) build so his kid’s team could play) and to other notable charities for decades. He said, and has written in his books, that there’s only so much money a person needs and the rest is just vanity. He was taught that as a child and lived it as a multi-millionare (which he never truly was – bc he gave it away).
He and his family lived in the same modest suburban house in the same modest Maine town since the 70s.
And then there’s Jeff Bezos.

His only vanity allowances have been when he got that super over the top goth wrought iron gate for his drive way and buying the van that hit him.

Hell yeah. Dude is macabre as fuck. He’s also very chill about the whole thing, because he considers it the wake up call that really made him focus on getting sober and stopping his substance abuse, focusing on his family, and getting his books published. I feel like his Dark Tower stories after that suffered from his rush to get them done before something ELSE happened, because getting hit by that van was just the latest and worst in a string of bad things that threatened his life up to that point, but honestly I’m just glad he’s still with us.
