I fundamentally do not believe in the concept of “Too Big to Fail” – which applies very much so to how I look at Nations. There is always a breaking point, even if people have become numb to the signs of decay.
When you have Nazis marching in the streets… When your president is potentially working on behalf of foreign governments… When fanatical religious sects glorify the literal end of the world… When your citizens cannot get clean water… When an entire territory remains without power for months… When poverty, unemployment, and homelessness skyrocket… When people are living with literal sewage in their lawns… When people are dying of easily prevented medical problems… When you accuse international allies of being dangerous with zero proof… When science is treated as the enemy… When politically motivated monopolies control local news stations… When mass shootings have become mundane… When children are being locked up in cages… When half the nation is literally on fire…
These are all major signs of the status quo decaying in real time. Each one is a massive red flag to the health not only of the government in it’s polished white buildings, but also the health of the citizens who actually make up that “Nation.”
Despite what some may believe – a Nation cannot survive supported only by a military and corporate billionaires. Each day that passes I become more convinced that the USA is not simply going to die within our lifetime, but that it will be happening sooner rather than later unless serious changes occur.
It is precisely the existence of the mindset that we are invulnerable, which proves how extremely weak we truly are. Healthy people are aware of their weaknesses and mortality. The USA has entirely lost track of that as a nation.
