Stop mocking who you used to be stop belittling and insulting the child you were for things everyone in the world has gone through: puberty and all it comes with, braces, a bad haircut, your clothes, the childlike things you said. 13-year-old me wanted good friends and hated her acne and wanted better clothes and was terrified of people making fun of her for it so why should i do that now?? I deserved the love and respect at 13 that i do now and i’ll be the first to give it!
if u wouldn’t say it to a kids face today, don’t say it (or think it) about yourself at that age either. being embarrassing isn’t an unforgivable act, so forgive yourself for it and move on
It’s funny, I don’t particularly like myself, but it’s never past me that annoys me. I get why he did what he did, why he was how he was. I’m not sure what he’d be expected to do differently
It’s present me who pisses me off

“Warren ended up providing one of the clearest examples yet of how Trumpian rhetoric shifts the political conversation. The woman who is hoping to become the most progressive Democratic nominee in generations is not merely letting herself get jerked around by a Trumpian taunt. She is also reinforcing one of the most insidious ways in which Americans talk about race: as though it were a measurable biological category, one that, in some cases, can be determined by a single drop of blood. Genetic-test evidence is circular: if everyone who claims to be X has a particular genetic marker, then everyone with the marker is likely to be X. This would be flawed reasoning in any area, but what makes it bad science is that it reinforces the belief in the existence of X—in this case, race as a biological category. Warren’s video will hardly convince a Trump voter, who will see only a woman who feels that she has to prove something. Trump himself has already walked back his promise of a million-dollar charity donation. Warren, meanwhile, has allowed herself to be dragged into a conversation based on an outdated, harmful concept of racial blood—one that promotes the pernicious idea of biological differences among people—and she has pulled her supporters right along with her.”

I was expecting a loud noise or a jump scare or destruction. What I got-
Cat!… What I TELL YOU about pulling that extradimmemsional shit in my living room?!?!

hey. it’s my birthday in less than 30 days. i don’t really have a wishlist rn, but it’d be great if you wanna donate towards a) me getting smth nice for myself b) daily costs of living.
i’m gay, transmasc, multiply disabled, jewish and a first-generation immigrant with a heavy accent, which are all part of why i can’t get a job right now. i’m bedridden about 70% of the time and a wheelchair user. i’m on disability benefits and receive just £127 a week, which is barely enough for the costs of living, so i don’t exactly have a budget for birthday presents for myself.
you can donate via ko-fi.
thank you very much! even if you can’t donate anything, please reblog and spread the word! also feel free to repost this on facebook or twitter or w/e, if you think it’ll help.
hey!! my birthday is this sunday!!
