this is Momo, and he needs a home!
He’s in the greater Seattle area of Washington, USA but for the right adopter he could do a little traveling.
Momo is a ~10yo Turkish Angora neutered male, completely deaf, indoor cat, great at using a litterbox, and he’s looking for his next snugglebuddy.
this is the sweetest, friendliest, easiest cat you will ever love. he’s a great first-owner cat, cause he’s so easy. once he warms up to you he is affectionate, cuddly, talkative, and super sweet. he’s quite content hanging out during the day (he loves windows!) and then following you around when you get home until you can sit down for snuggles. he could very easily make a great comfort animal.
if he wants something he will Do A Screm. a v big screm. all of the screm. you will wonder how so much noise came out of one cat. usually screm means feed me or cuddle me.
(do not let him fool you. fuuds are rationed and screms will not produce more fuuds. screms CAN be usually solved with cuddles, though. and snuggling during the night. plz snuggle your momo when sleeping, it is strongly recommended by the manufacturers.)
ngl I think I love momo more than I love the animals I already own. He is THAT perfect at being a luvvyboy.
buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut it cannot be. for momo is a jealous butt, and also thinks smaller animals are Delightful Toys To Hunt. unfortunately momo is… not so good at size estimations. So anything that he thinks is remotely his size = “smaller animal”. he needs to be an only cat, and as far as we’ve experienced, he only does well with larger dogs. he’s been passed around my family because of this, and it’s time for him to find a permanent home elsewhere.
please send me a pm or ask if you are interested! feel free to share this to anybody you know who you think he would be good for.
PLEASE adopt him!!!!! He’s sooooo cute!!!! I wish I could adopt him, but my dogs really hate cats D:
A whole bunch of senators have signed and sent a letter to Ajit Pai, demanding him to once again delay the FCC’s vote on a net neutrality repeal until he comes clean about his sh*t. The letter even called
the FCC on their use of bots to unfairly tip the balance in favor of the repeal.
Your voices are starting to pay off, but the battle is far from over. If you haven’t done your part yet, please contact your senator or local representative and let them know how much you DON’T WANT net neutrality to be repealed.
Don’t stay silent! Positive change doesn’t come from apathy or inaction. If you keep this up and then some for as long as necessary, you guys could win this battle and stop this looming threat on an open internet.
This post is already outdated. The FCC has decided to not postpone the vote. (See the update at the end of this article, among others: https://www.engadget.com/2017/12/04/senators-ask-fcc-delay-net-neutrality-vote/)

On Dec 6, 1989, at 5:10pm, a man with a gun a hunting knife, and a vendetta against feminists walked into École Polytechnique, and killed 14 women, and injuring 14 others, in what is known as the École Polytechnique massacre, and the worst gun-reated mass murder in Canada . He separated the men from the women in the classes he attacked, and only shot the women. Within 20 minutes, he turned the gun on himself so he could take an easy way out. The École Polytechnique massacre happened 26 years ago today. That man’s name means nothing but murder and death, so we will not give him the courtesy of granting him media attention. Instead, let us remember the victims, women who were in school to learn, who had hopes and dreams, family and friends, lovers and loving personalities. Let us remember

TIL a study by British sociologists found 7 distinct social classes: Elite, Established middle class, Traditional working class, Technical middle class, Emergent service workers, New affluent workers and Precariat. Whom people know and what they do contribute to their class as much as income.
My partner thought it was hilarious when he did the BBC’s quiz after it came out and got “Elite”. Apparently on the basis that he does a variety of things and knows a variety of people 🤔
I was apparently “Established Middle Class”, which was almost as good. (Think “Upper Middle” in US terms.)
Neither one of us is British, btw, just living here. The whole framework definitely is very, very British.

I’m not even kidding when I tell you this: River jokingly told our giant orange cat Brian that he was supposed to be babysitting. He literally walked back over and sat down on the baby.
He looks so serious! 😂 Should we rename him Amelia Bedelia?
Please reblog! Help mum and daughter with clothes and coat.
Looking for clothes for my mum and I, and a coat for mum. Both of us are disabled; mum has fibromyalgia and arthritis, and I have ME/CFS, fibro, endometriosis, possibly mitochondrial disease, and bipolar disorder. I’m in the process of applying for disability and mum is supporting us both on her small SSDI pension. We are dirt poor. I just went from 98 pounds to 110+ (our scale is broken) and need clothes that fit. My mum has almost no clothes, and no winter coat. She wears this horrible olive drab coat with a hoodie, and she’s so embarrassed by it. It gets cold here in Detroit, and she should have a proper coat.
If you find you have things in these sizes, please let me know. We’d be so appreciative. You can also help us by donating to our fundraiser – https://goo.gl/dkoSTW, or PayPal: firstname.lastname@example.org – so we can get clothes at a resale shop or thrift store. Please share, and thanks for any help!❤
Mum: Size 16/18 or 1X in tops, the same in coats. Size 15 in junior’s jeans.
Me: Size medium or large in junior’s tops. Probably a small or medium in women’s. Size 1 or 2 in junior’s jeans. Like I said, I’m about 110-115 pounds and five foot six.
Signal boosting! 💙
