Hi! I’m sunny! I’m a disabled nb lesbian living with severe chronic pain and severe mental illness. Specifically, PTSD and SAD (my working diagnoses for pain are endometriosis and interstitial cystitis). All of this means I am unable to work and have been for a year and a half while my doctors try to help me.
I lost my health insurance in October, and will have to wait several months before I’m insured again. My medications now cost hundreds of dollars per month. Ironically, the government will not even consider me for aid unless I’m insured. Not sure how they expect me to PAY for the insurance without their help, but maybe that’s the point.
That’s where you come in! If you’re willing and able! I have been doing small art pieces and odd jobs to try to scrape by, but even after selling or pawning most of my valuables I am struggling to get by. If you have even a dollar to spare, please consider asking for my paypal.

It is alarming to me how large (and how many young people are included) and dedicated this man’s audience is.

Like he is moving from dog whistles to a bull horn. That with the “chain migration” scare tactics the Trump Administration just put out that is shared by overtly racist groups like NumbersUSA, how can anyone deny these people are outright fascists?

An Ottawa labour council has launched a hotline to publicly shame businesses cutting paid breaks and other worker benefits after the province’s minimum wage hike.

On New Year’s Day, the minimum wage in Ontario went up to $14 per hour, an increase of $2.40. In 2019 it will go up to $15 per hour.

In response, multiple Tim Hortons franchises across the province have yanked paid breaks, some benefits and other perks, workers tell CBC News. Workers at some Sunset Grill, Wimpy’s and East Side Mario’s outlets in Ontario have also said they are losing perks.

“It’s wrong. It’s just plain wrong,” said Sean McKenny, president of the Ottawa and District Labour Council (ODLC), in an interview.
