WATCH: The Oregon Zoo in Portland was closed to the public today due to heavy snow – but the zoo’s residents had a blast.

Oh my GODD THE POLAR BEAR GOT SOME SNOW HE MUST FEEL SO REFRESHED

relatable seals at the end there

“Hey Joe! Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe look!!! It’s snow!”

I need more of this shit!

Those happy elephant sounds cleared my skin and watered my crops.

Happy one year anniversary to this video!!

It still makes me so happy to watch.

I need an abortion asap before it’s too late. Planned parenthood doesn’t accept my insurance and I can’t go to my primary doctor they’ll send the information to my parents regarding any procedure I get and they’re pro-life they would never let me get rid of it. I have very little money is there an alternative place to go to or something I could do without doctors

What to do if you need an abortion:

  1. First talk to Planned Parenthood.  Even though your PP doesn’t accept your health insurance, they definitely know where you can go to get one.  Ask to talk to a nurse if the people you’re on the phone with don’t have any good answers for you. They can either a) help you out with a payment plan for the cost of your abortion, b) help you sign up for better insurance that does pay for abortion, c) figure out a sliding-scale fee for you, or d) help you find some place that DOES accept your insurance.
  2. Check out the hospitals around you.  Unless it’s a religious hospital, it’s very likely to provide abortions.  Public city or state hospitals are best, since they are most likely to have very accessible sliding scale fees.  For example, at a lot of the NYC city hospitals you will never pay more than $150 out of pocket for anything if you’re in the lowest income bracket for their sliding scale.  That means even for a $5000 abortion, you’d only pay $150.
  3. Call your insurance to get all the information about how you use it sent only to you, not your parents.  Then you can go to your primary doctor and use your insurance without them alerting your parents.  Learn how to do that HERE.
  4. Ask for help from the person who got you pregnant (if you can do that safely) and friends or family.  Only you know if this is feasible for you or not, but I recommend you think it through if there’s anyone in your extended family that you could trust.  For example, I know if one of my cousins from a deeply religious family ever reached out to me, I would sell the rings off my fingers to help them out.
  5. Go to an abortion fund.  Abortion funds are funds that only exist to help out folks in just the same situation as you.  Start HERE at the National Network of Abortion Funds.

Good luck!  Sending you love and light!

if you live in the South, call ARC Southeast – they will help you find a way to pay for it, help you get transportation and housing if you need to get it done in a different state, and help you get a ride and an escort so you don’t have to do it alone.
