Not so much. My mom started to develope dementia at 77 but she compensated so well that not even my sister believed me—I was living with her at the time.

This is the way the cracks on her cognition showed up. Weird stuff.

But I agree that the other things on this list feel like education issues and that one doesn’t.

Well ok I can believe something can happen like that with dementia and other similar conditions, but in that case, it shouldn’t be part of an add about people lacking sex Ed. Know what I mean?

Yep. But a lot of people don’t realize that about half of all people over the age of 80 show symptoms of dementia so whoever put this together was probably young and didn’t get it. They also put the thing about Dr Pepper and taking care of a baby isn’t really about sex ed either.

This is a ‘look at how stupid some people are (and how smart I am)’ kind of post. Not my favorite kind.

As many of y’all know, I live in an extremely abusive household with controlling, manipulative, and cruel parents. My mother is particular is prone to violence, and the constant fear is wearing on my mental health.

Is there anyone in Houston around the Bellaire area that’s willing to let me come hang out / stay nights just to get away for a bit? It’s not urgent right now but I’d like to have people to turn to if things go wrong again. I’m 19 and I don’t drink nor do drugs, and I can drive myself. Feel free to message me.
