Like, you want janitors and McDonald fast food workers and cleaners.

You just don’t want them to make a liveable wage and have healthcare and be treated like proper human beings.

People who work in an air conditioned office all day sincerely do believe that those jobs are both less important and not as exhausting.

My Dad’s simple rule was; “Don’t ever dare look down your nose at someone who is doing a job that you wouldn’t want to have to do”

or just like. don’t look down your nose at people? generally? people in underpaid and difficult jobs deserve respect, people who can’t work deserve respect, do you see where im going with this.

Hi loves!

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to my Go Fund Me or PayPal! I’m almost halfway to my goal. I had surgery on Dec 27th during which they placed bone grafts on the end of my right femur. I’ll be off work until roughly February. The money I’m raising is for my living expenses during that time, my medical bills including prescriptions, and anything left over goes to my savings account where I am saving to replace my broken-down wheelchair with a rigid chair, most likely a Quickie 5R.

Feel free to shoot me a message with any questions you may have about my medical situation and whatnot, and please help spread my donation links.

WHAT

Hardcore grudging.

Hey I wrote this post a couple years ago! It was for a discussion about emotional labor and the lie that relationships are hard work.

The month before he didn’t buy me a Snickers, we completely ignored my
birthday because he ranted about how pathetic it is when girls want
presents just for aging. I was a Cool Girl so I agreed that my birthday
is unimportant.

Then the week before he didn’t buy me a Snickers, we celebrated his birthday for 7 days straight at his request and at considerable time and financial cost to myself. Then he didn’t buy me a Snickers.

We obviously didn’t like each other, but when you’re 18/19 years old and all you’ve ever heard is that you’re not supposed to like your partner and relationships take so much work to maintain, then you assume your shitty relationship is healthy. Don’t be like that. The only hard relationships are with people you don’t like.

Damn girl

i always knew there was a story behind this post
